Why?
Homelessness affects all of us—it impacts healthcare resources, crime and safety, the workforce, and the use of tax dollars.
How?
The best way to end homelessness is to get people off the streets and into stable housing. I plan on further supporting the Wellness Center, where the homeless can get back on their feet, with more staff and resources. I also want to expand our Homeless Task Force.
When?
I want to sit down with our community to get their feedback on current efforts to help the homeless and how we can continue to support these efforts. I’ll also work together with the rest of the City Council to keep supporting the Wellness Center with further resources and staff.
