About.
Bob Harriman
Bob Harriman is Victorville’s Mayor Pro Tem, District 4 Councilmember, a longtime local small business owner, and the owner of High Desert Concrete. A Victorville resident for decades, Bob understands the High Desert from the ground up — as a business owner, neighbor, and public servant committed to strengthening the community he calls home.
Since being elected to the Victorville City Council in 2022, Bob has focused on the basics that matter most to residents: safer neighborhoods, responsible budgeting, stronger public safety, better roads, and improved community services. During his first term, Victorville has moved forward with major investments in public safety, including the design of a new police station, expansion of Fire Station 313, new fire apparatus and equipment, traffic enforcement efforts, and continued support for Sheriff and Fire services. The City has also advanced major infrastructure projects, including Bear Valley Road, Mojave Drive, Air Expressway, citywide pavement preservation, sidewalk improvements, and other capital investments.
On The Issues
01. PUBLIC SAFETY
Bob Harriman believes every Victorville family deserves to feel safe in their neighborhood. That means supporting our Sheriff’s deputies, firefighters, traffic enforcement, emergency medical response, and the tools they need to protect a growing city. During Bob’s first term, Victorville has continued investing in public safety through Measure P, including the design of a new police station, fire apparatus reserves, EMS and HAZMAT equipment, and the expansion of Fire Station 313.
02. BETTER ROADS, INFRASTRUCTURE, AND GROWTH
As a longtime local small business owner, Bob understands that strong communities are built on reliable infrastructure. He is focused on improving roads, fixing pavement, expanding sidewalks, strengthening water and utility systems, and making sure Victorville keeps pace with growth. Recent city priorities include Bear Valley Road improvements, Mojave Drive improvements, Air Expressway upgrades, citywide pavement preservation, sidewalk projects, and other major capital investments.
03. AFFORDABILITY AND QUALITY OF LIFE
Bob Harriman knows working families, seniors, veterans, and small businesses are feeling the pressure of rising costs. That is why he supports responsible budgeting, protecting city reserves, bringing new jobs and businesses to Victorville, improving parks, and keeping city services focused on residents. Bob will continue working to make Victorville more affordable, more livable, and better prepared for the future.
